Oct 26, 2021 | México, MICLA, Professions, St. Anthony Mary Claret

Mexico City, Mexico. On Sunday, October 24, in full celebration of our founder, in the temple of San Antonio María Claret, Mexico City, at 12:00 noon, the young student José Alberto Hernández Sánchez, cmf, who after years of having professed temporarily, received his Perpetual Profession at the hands of R. P. Enrique Mascorro López, cmf. He was also accompanied by many Claretians from the communities of San Hipólito and the Purest Heart of Mary, Fathers Marcos Garnica, Luis Mario González, Humberto Rodríguez, René Pérez, Ernesto Mejía, cmff, as well as some students and Brothers Adolfo Villaseñor and Juan Carlos Bugarín, cmff. His mother Rosa Hernandez, his godparents, aunts, and cousins, as well as many lay friends were also by his side.

The celebration was full of elements full of symbolism, accompanied by the magnificent voice of Liz Santillan and in the homily Fr. Mascorro emphasized that they should always be concerned about their missionary attitude, that it does not matter that they are few, but to make themselves feel many because of their love and generosity.

José Alberto was interrogated by Fr. Mascorro, cmf, to express before all present his willingness to receive his perpetual profession, he made his promises and prostrated himself on the ground, while the rest prayed the litany of the Saints. Finally, he made his perpetual profession.

Shortly after, he received the institution of the lectorate and the acolyte and then, with great joy, he prepared the altar and gave Communion for the first time to his mother, his family, and the laity present. After the Eucharistic celebration, the celebration continued with a toast to the vocation of our brother.
