Rome. The chapter members spent a part of the day of September, 12 to work on the third section of the chapter document.
During the middle of the day, Mrs. Bernadetta Arbaiza, the Secretary General of the Lay Claretians Movement was present in the chapter hall with the aim of sharing the result of the Assembly of the Movement realized in Granada, Spain in the second week of July.
The meeting, she told, has allowed the group to deepen their knowledge on their identity and mission in the Church. One of the important aspects for the movement is, in fact, the Shared Mission. Faith, inspired in the Gospel is one and it is enriched when shared.
He also highlighted some difficulties the movement faces today, such as, the communication among the communities and translation of the documents.
At 18:30 hrs, the chapter members received the visit of the claretians from Rome and various sisters representing the Claretian Family: Religious Sisters of Mary Immaculate –Claretian Missionary Sisters, Lay Claretians, Missionary Sisters of St. Anthony Mary Claret and Missionary Sisters of the Claretian Institution. Besides, representing our own families of blood, Mrs. Moly, the sister of Fr. Mathew Vattamattam participated in this encounter.
With the participation of this group, fraternity by the claretian spirit, we celebrated the Eucharist presided by Fr. General. Followed by this there was a fraternal table sharing of the Claretian fellowship.
