Mexico. The last day of the encounter dawns, enlightened from the psalms of the liturgy, which were adorned with beautiful images projected from a computer by Fr. Ventura Tejero, of the mission of Humahuaca. We have worked over the different pastoral areas of our Latin American Confederation, with the purpose of encouraging them and giving guidelines appropriate to the changing of times. The new Board of Directors will be able to choose sub-secretaries for the work of the Biblical Diary.
The following Board of Directors of CICLA was elected:
President: Fr. Alejandro Cerón (Mexico),
Vice-President: Fr. Héctor Cuadrado (Antilles),
Executive Secretary: Fr. Marcos Garnica (Mexico).
Their term of office is till 2011. May God illumine and fortify them in the animation of the entire confederation.
During the Eucharist, presided over by the new Board of Directors of CICLA, there was a blessed rain of thanksgiving; we prayed much for the future of CICLA and ratified the commitment of all the organisms to render all the necessary help. In the celebration we were accompanied by our Cordimarian Sisters and the Claretian Sisters.
What is left to us now is to communicate and make these great dreams come true in our local communities, with the help of Mary, our Mother, Teacher and Formator, and animated by the untiring missionary spirit of our Holy Father Founder.
We thank all the missionaries and the others who have been reading our chronicle throughout this week. United in prayer, that CICLA make so many dreams come true.
In the Heart of Mary.
