Cameroon. On April 15-17 the Assembly of the Claretians of Central Africa present in Cameroon was held in Yaundé, with the attendance of the new Government of the Delegation, of Fr. Vicente Sanz representing Fr. General, and of Fr. Ramón Olomí in charge of following up the self-financing process of the Delegation.
This Assembly is the second part of the Delegation Assembly, after the one celebrated in the zone of the Congo in the month of February. It is the first Assembly of the new Government of the Delegation. In it, all the themes related to government, community life, spirituality, apostolate and economy were revised. The participants have reflected and dialogued about these points and have left to the new Government a good number of recommendations to keep into account. Because of the presence of the Delegate for the self-financing, the theme of economy has been stressed, for which a Scotic religious who helped in the theoretical reflection.
In the Assembly, 42 perpetually professed have participated, in an excellent atmosphere of prayer and fraternity, for which we thank God.
