Bogotá, Colombia. In the Retreat House of Emmaus, Bogotá, during the days of May 1 to 4, 2010, an encounter of Vocational Ministry was celebrated by the Organisms of Occidental Colombia, Oriental Colombia-Ecuador and Venezuela, which are in the process of constituting a new Organism.
A group of persons, convoked by Bro. Héctor Tibudaiza, prefect of formation of Oriental Colombia-Ecuador, gathered in a number that fluctuated all
throughout the encounter, but in certain moments exceeded thirty persons.
Besides the group of Claretian students, brothers and priests, there were three Claretian Missionary Sisters and five lay women, collaborators in their works. We specially emphasize the presence of Fr. Javier Pulgarín, Provincial Superior of Occidental Colombia, Fr. Raúl Céspedes, Prefect of Apostolate of Oriental Colombia-Ecuador, Fr. Guillermo Ramírez, Prefect of Apostolate of Occidental Colombia and the above mentioned Bro. Héctor, who convoked and organized the Encounter.
Fr. Juan Carlos Martos, General Secretary of Vocational Ministry, also attended as guest and animator of the encounter. Fr. José Ma. Flores, Provincial Superior of Occidental Colombia-Ecuador was also present in some occasions.
In this Encounter they were able to formulate a joint proposal of vocational ministry that would allow it to remain active and coordinated during the process of the constitution of the new Organism. During the encounter they were able to share several types of information.
