Segovia, Spain. On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, the popular music group “Ronda Segoviano” has organized twelve fundraising concerts titled: “Twelve Serenades of Love”.
The second of these “rondas” was celebrated this past 12th of February, organized by the Fundación Proclade (Claretian Development Foundation) and Colegio Claret.
The concert was celebrated in the church of the Claretian Missionaries, with an overflowing audience. In addition to the Ronda, the Pulso y Púa Orchestra performed such works as “Cuerda para rato”, “Tutto Voce” y “Llanos y Fernando”.
More than one hundred students of the Colegio went on stage to perform the Song of Joy, under the baton of their director and professor, Juan de la Cruz Pastor Martín, which was joined-in by all those attending.
The funds raised will contribute to two projects of solidarity, one in Honduras and the other in Ecuador, to build warehouses and water projects.
