Roma. From the 18 – 22 of July, 2011 at the General Curia of the Congregation, the course for those recently designated as Secretaries for Provinces and Delegations was held.
Convened by the Secretary General, Fr. José Felix Valderrabano, the following Secretaries participated: Fr. Manuel Carrasco, of Bética; Fr. Alejandro Añez, of Bolivia-Perú; Fr. Pierre Zanga, of France; Fr. Massimo Proscia; Fr. Francisco Díaz, of México; Fr. Amador Tumbaga, of the Philippines; Fr. Andrej Koblinsky, of Polonia; Fr. Ángel Ochagavía, of U.K.-Ireland and Fr. Gregory Ezeokeke, of West Nigeria.
During the week the Secretaries studied the theory and practice of the various areas appropriate to their functions: clarification of terminology and juridical procedures, documents and protocol, the archive, the use of the informative program of the Secretary General (SECLAR), and information as a service of communication for the congregational mission, among other themes.
Time was also given to know and visit various sites of interest in the ‘Eternal City’, such as the visit and Eucharistic celebration in the Vatican grottos. It was also an opportunity to extend the bonds of communion among the participants as part of the whole Congregation. (Fotos)
