Guatemala City, Guatemala. Today the participants began the sessions of Encounter of Formators in Guatemala took up a new topic for in-put sessions, discussion and assimilation. The theme is ‘inter-culturality and formation’. Fr. Joseph Calistus, the Provincial Superior of Deutschland was the resource person. He started the sessions with a group work on reflecting on Acts 10:9-13, John 4: 7, 9, how the prejudiced mind was transformed. He exhorted the participants to read the Scripture through an intercultural lens. In the sessions the participants were given exercises and thus they were interactive and infused a lot of awareness in the Formators to carry to their homeland the wider concepts of inter-culturality.
As usual in the evening the participants devoted time for reading and deliberations on the 6th and 7th chapters of the draft of the General Plan of Formation. The secretaries presented the observations and sought clarifications on certain numbers.
