Mixco, Guatemala. The Local Superiors Meeting of the Claretian Province of Centroamérica which started on the 14th and scheduled to end on the 16th of March 2019 is taking place at the Casa de Retiros Claret in the neighborhood of Ciudad San Cristobal, Mixco with 15 Local Superiors, the Provincial Government, and Provincial Secretariats present.
On the first day, the Provincial, Fr. Ismael Montero, CMF animated and opened the session with the “Our consecration” prayer and invited the body to recall two exemplar missionaries who have already gone to the Father’s House – Frs. Antonio Anglés Odena, CMF (+1972), who was one of the first missionaries to found the Claretian mission in Panama; and Teodoro Ruiz Lanchares, CMF (+1977), who served for many years in Puerto Pilón, in Colón, Panamá, and in Honduras.
During these days, the Local Superiors will share their respective personal and communitarian realities in their Local Communities as well as discuss some important matters on the life and mission of the Province.
