Catamarca, Argentina. After 115 years of missionary work in the diocesan territory of the Diocese of Diocese of Catamarca, in a celebration presided over by the Provincial Superior of San José del Sur, Fr. Mario Gutiérrez Medina, CMF, on Sunday, 16 December 2018, the Claretian Missionaries bade goodbye to the area. Concelebrating with the Superior was the Vicar General of the Diocese, Fr. Julio Quiroga del Pino, and Fr. Gustavo Ferreira, CMF.

The Vicar General made mention of the valuable evangelizing task carried out by the Claretian Missionaries in the parish jurisdiction of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the capital city, as well as in the interior of the Diocese.
