Bogor, Indonesia. “Our missionary path is an endless journey. It is hope that burns as well as energizes our missionary zeal to continue our missionary pilgrimage to continue to walk, to accompany and to adore. It is from the Cross of our Master, that hope shines, and with that great hope we continue our spiritual journey of God’s quest and wholeheartedly serve his Kingdom through this beloved Congregation in this Delegation of Indonesia-Timor Leste.” This is the encouraging message of Fr. Leo Dalmao, CMF, General Prefect of Formation, as he accomplishes his General Canonical Visitation in the Delegation from July 5 to September 14, 2018.
After visiting all the communities of the Delegation of Indonesia-Timor Leste, experiencing its daily life’s rhythm, and personal dialogue with all the members of the Delegation and with all its lay-collaborators, Fr. Leo encourages the Organism to continue to walk, to accompany and to adore through different missionary services of the Delegation.
“Never stop believing and hoping for a better future in witnessing and in giving reason for our hope,” said the General Visitor.
Fr. Yohanes Maria Vianey Lusi Emi, CMF, the Major Superior of the Delegation, on behalf of the Council Members, thanked Fr. Leo, for his missionary zeal shared with all the members of the Delegation on this Canonical Visit and for bringing the maternal care of the Congregation closer to the members of the Delegation.
“It is a time for the Delegation to embody all the recommendations proposed by the General Visitor in witnessing and in telling the Story of the Master in the promised land of Indonesia and Timor Leste,” said Fr. Vianey.
