Bengaluru, India: Taking forward the congregational initiative of training the members in Discerning Leadership, Province of Bangalore completes training of its members with the third workshop held from 13 to 20 May 2024 at Claret Nivas Carmelaram. 32 members, 28 from Province of Bangalore and four from St. Thomas Province participated in the training.
The workshop consisted of various modules of different aspects of leadership and discernment, such as contextual understanding, Jesus’ way, Claretian key, personality dynamics, synodality, conflict transformation, polarity management, etc. The participants were assisted and guided by Frs. Paulson Veliyannoor and James Kannanthanam, CMFF, through input sessions, personal and group reflections as well as activities, some assessment tests and exercises. On the whole the workshop helped in understanding and building up effective leadership in the context of the Congregation and the Church.
Province of Bangalore held three such workshops first one in July 2023, second in April 2024 and the final one in May 2024. With this, almost all the members of the province participated and benefited from the workshop.
