Madrid, Spain. The seventh English edition of the Claretian renewal encounter Forge that began on October 1, 2023, concluded at the Forge Center, Los Negrales, with a sending forth Eucharist on December 14, 2023. Fr. Gonzalo Fernandez Sanz, CMF, the director of the magazine Vida Religiosa, presided over the Eucharist and gave a fitting message, underlining the scriptural message of the day, “Fear not, I will be with you.”
Sixteen participants from 12 Major Organisms underwent the intensive Forge encounter that spanned 75 days and four phases of Quid Prodest, Patris Mei, Caritas Christi, and Spiritus Domini. All of them expressed their gratitude to the Congregation for the Forge that has rekindled the charismatic fire within them. As Cleopas and his friend returned from Emmaus with fire in their hearts, the Forge 07/23 alumni have now returned to their respective communities to share the fire with their brothers.
