6. Claret ENEA Immigrant welcome Project
The Claretians from the Bilbao community spearhead an initiative called "Project of Welcoming Immigrants" from Claret Enea.
The project aims to provide initial support to migrants who are often homeless or lack necessities. Services provided include social worker assistance, participation in various workshops, and literacy training in Spanish. The project is facilitated at the Claret Enea Center in Bilbao's San Francisco neighbourhood, known for its high poverty levels and immigrant population.
The centre offers various resources, including a day centre, essential needs assistance, Spanish workshops, social housing assistance, shelter, and employment guidance.
