Ormoc City, Philippines. On March 25, 2023, Feast of the Annunciation, Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province reopened its Novitiate House in Ormoc City after a two-year interruption, welcoming eight novices. Fr. Amador Tumbaga, CMF, Provincial Vicar, presided over the acceptance ceremony, with Fr. Hoang Thai Son, CMF, the new Novice Master, Fr. Arvin B. Bellen, CMF, the new Local Superior of Fr. Emilio Pablo Community, and Rev. Ho Sy Nam, CMF.
The Novitiate House has finally reopened its doors, and with it, a new chapter of formation begins. The new novices are six Vietnamese (Nguyen Quang Truong, Nguyen Tien Dat, Tran Van Sinh, Tang Hong Du, Tran Van Ba) and two Filipinos (Jomar Niño Abasola and Harold Tinaja). Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province invites everyone to pray for these new novices and their formation.
