Madrid, Spain. On March 23, 2023, in the presence of its director, Fr. Antonio Bellella, CMF, ITVR presented its 52nd National Consecrated Life Week to be held on April 12 to 15 in-person and online formats.
The Theological Institute of Religious Life (ITVR) announced the 52nd National Consecrated Life Week scheduled from April 12 to 15, 2023, under the theme “Weaving Paths of Hope.” This annual event aims to inspire and strengthen the religious community.
Father Antonio Bellella, CMF, Director of the ITVR, and Laura Zamora, Secretary, led the event presentation, which addressed the crisis of meaning and hope within the religious community. The 52nd National Week will offer in-person and online options to reach a wider audience.
During the presentation, Father Bellella, CMF, stated,
“Discouraging pessimism is so prestigious that it sometimes presents itself as the only valid approach to reality,” and added that “hope cannot be spoken of as if it were a delusion of naivety, a last resort, but as another approach to reality, which reveals nuances that merely critical analysis fails to see.”
The 52nd National Consecrated Life Week is shaping up to be an enriching and hopeful encounter that will address relevant and current issues in the life of the religious community.
