Bengaluru, India: ASCLA West Formation Team gathered at the Claretian Provincial House in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, on January 25th, 2023, to draft a plan for the upcoming ASCLA West conference. The conference, which aims to incorporate the essentials of the General Formation Plan (GPF 2020) and tailor it to local contexts, was attended by Prefects of Formation and representatives from Delegations and Provinces.
The team, consisting of Fr. John Thadathil, Fr. Thomas Paingottu (St. Thomas), Fr. James Kannanthanam, Fr. Xavier Pereira (Bangalore), Fr. Jaison (North East), Fr. Raphaelraj (Chennai), Fr. Danushka Silva (Sri Lanka) and Fr. Antony L (Kolkata), spent the day discussing and developing strategies for the conference. The meeting also reflected on the unique needs and challenges of the Claretian communities in the regions.
ASCLA West Conference gathers all the Claretian Major Organisms in East Asia: Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Northeast India, St. Joseph Vaz and St. Thomas.
