Segrate, Italy. On June 25, the feast of the Heart of Mary, a heartwarming ceremony was held in the Claretian community of Segrate which is responsible for the parish of San Ambrogio ad Fontes. The City of Segrate named the playground located in front of the church after two Claretian biological brothers: Frs. Vittorio and Dario Martino.
The first died in Argentina in 1988 after living several years in the mission in Bolivia. The second died in Segrate in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. These two brothers devoted strong and constant energies to the growth of the Christian community in Segrate.
They have left a mark on many lay people involved in pastoral service, in listening to the Word, and in their determination to follow in other countries of the world the story of the Kingdom.
The celebration was attended by a group of faithful. After the celebration of the community Eucharist, they projected a video/memorial entitled: The Mother Yeast of the Martino brothers.
