It is in the light of this that members of the Delegation of West Nigeria gathered at the Claretian Postulate House, Ibefun, Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State began on 13th of May to end on the 17th May 2019.

The theme for this year’s Assembly was carefully chosen to reflect the XXV chapter Documents, “Charismatic Witnessing to our Fraternal Life in Community”. The President of the Assembly, Very Rev. Simeon Nwobi, Provincial Superior of East Nigeria Province who on ground representing the Superior General, Very Rev. Matthew Vattamatam declared the Assembly open. The Assembly had moments of the Government giving reports of the various Prefectures, reading of Fr. General’s message to the Assembly and letter to the Delegation, message from the General Secretary, good will messages and the economic report and Specific Plan of Action to deliberate for possible resolutions.

On the third day the Assembly was still blessed with the presence of the immediate Bishop Emeritus, Most Rev. Albert Fasina who had time to share with the members the beautiful history of the Claretians in Ijebu-Ode Diocese since 1994.
