Ekali, Cameroon. On 15 July 2022, ten temporarily professed students began their “Second Novitiate” at the Interprovincial Novitiate Community of Anton Probst in Ekali. This batch, animated by Fr. Theophile Parfait Yene, CMF, Prefect of Formation of Cameroun, brings together Claretian students from three Major Organisms. They are Sch. Jean Marc Yao, CMF (Province of Polska); Schs. Tòmas Kakumbi, Gil Voto, and Domingos Kalembe, CMFF (Mae de Africa Independent Delegation); Schs. Cédric Raoul Tedongmo, Martin Joël Mboudou, Bertin Abeng Dunghu, Melvin Neba, Casimir Mevoungou and Ulrich Mbah Essomba, CMFF (Cameroun Independent Delegation).
This immediate preparation for the candidates for perpetual vows is done according to the orientations of number 423 of the General Plan of Formation. It is to intensify in the candidates the personal prayer, the times of silence and discernment on the one hand; and on the other hand, to renew in them the theoretical and experiential foundations of the Claretian religious life and to allow them to evaluate the missionary life in a dialogue with the formator.
This 2022 Edition of the 2nd Novitiate will end on August 15, 2022.
