Kupang, Indonesia. The Decennium Program of Indonesia – Timor Leste Independent Delegation took place on several scheduled dates and on three separate locations: May 5-14, 2019 for Timor Leste Region; June 1-10, 2019 for West Indonesia Region; and June 26 to July 5, 2019 for East Indonesia Region. Forty-four young missionaries under ten years of their priesthood or perpetual profession for brothers assigned on these three regions participated in this spiritual-academic renewal. Reflecting on the general theme, “Towards a Transformative Missionaries,” the program attempted to bring all the participants to immerse in a profound transformative experience for ten days.
Fr. Nikolaus Ilan, CMF (Delegation Prefect of Formation) and Fr. Emanuel L. Talok (Delegation Prefect of Spirituality) organized program in a spiritual-academic atmosphere. Some participants of each group were also asked to give inputs aside from the keynote speakers Fr. Jovito do Rego de Jesus for Timor Leste and West Indonesia regions and Fr. Oktovianus Naif for East Indonesia region. All the participants were grateful with the endless transformative process and they returned to their mission fields, bringing with them big dreams and project of self-renewal.
