Santiago de Chile. On May 14th we celebrated the 108th anniversary since the death of Venerable Father Mariano Avellana, CMF, one of the great icons of sanctity generated from the charism of St. Anthony Mary Claret.

The Venerable, is a great example of the radicality that one can reach in the experience of missionary commitment: igniting the world with his own inner fire which cannot be extinguished, rejoicing in privations, tackling the work of an Evangelizer work without fuss, and at the same time suffering unavoidable sacrifices, slander, and torments if necessary.
