Pastoral and Community Trauma Management: Quinquennium of Cameroun Independent Delegation

Feb 2, 2022 | Cameroun, Ongoing Formation

Yaoundé, Cameroon. On Tuesday, February 01, 2022, at Casa Claret Nkolbisson Curia in Yaoundé, the Quinquennium 2022 of more than 20 members of Cameroun Independent Delegation took off with the celebration of the memory of the Claretian Martyrs. Fr. Joseph Mbungu-Mutu, CMF, General Prefect of Formation, the facilitator of this year’s program, presided over the Eucharist.

In his homily, Fr. Joseph recalled the love for the Congregation and the commitment of our martyrs in the gift of their lives for the faith in God. He challenged each missionary to be capable of such an act of faith for his community.

After the Bible enthronement ceremony, they followed the encouraging message of our Superior General attentively, Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, CMF. He reminded the participants that the strength (audacity) of the Claretian Missionary in the mission depends on his being rooted in Christ, then in the Congregation and Community. This rootedness also allows us to flourish in the community of life that is ours.
