This Agency of the Holy See for the Evaluation and Promotion of the Quality of Universities and Ecclesiastical Faculties was founded by Pope Benedict XVI on September 19, 2007, and is an institution linked to the Holy See according to articles 186 and 190-191 of the Apostolic Constitution Pastor Bonus. The role of the Agency is to promote and develop a culture of quality within the academic institutions directly dependent on the Holy See and to ensure the validity of its quality criteria on an international scale.

We thank Pope Francis for the confidence placed in the abilities and qualities of Henry Omonisaye, CMF, and we wish this also to be a congregational service to the Church.
